A lost art in America with the advent of modern framing techniques, timberframing has come back with the revival of the industry. Timberframes provide the strength of heavy timbers while allowing the beauty of those timbers to be seen, adding stunning accents to the home.
We typically use reclaimed or dry timbers using traditional mortise & tenon joinery. All timbers and joinery are engineered to properly to there job. All components are pre-cut in our yard and assembled onsite. In conjunction with stress-skin panels, timberframes can be very energy-efficient and easy to erect.
